THE PRISM GR2011

During the summer of 2010, having been away from Greece for so many years, I decided to return, and with my good friend Nina, produced and directed an online multimedia documentary called The Prism GR2011, a collective documentation of Greece, a multimedia experiment exploring new formats of non-fiction narratives and multimedia journalism.

We put together a team of 14 photojournalists and held a workshop introducing them to video and collective online documentary storytelling. Together we produced 27 shorts and a feature film sharing the stories, as echoed through the voices of people from various walks of life that have been affected by the crisis.

Once done creating the 27 shorts, we wove them together into a feature length documentary called Krisis, which has won a variety of awards and has been broadcasted in 8 different countries.
